Enduro, Hare and Hounds and Enduro Tryout Days with WOR Events

FIRST OF 3 NEW VENUES FOR WOR

“WOR Events are very pleased to announce the use of a stunning “new” venue for the events on the 26/27th July and also for the Wednesday night CF Racing last round on July 30th .

The “NEW” venue has been used by WOR in the past but it was over 5 years ago and there will not be many of the current batch of WOR riders that will remember the venue or visited it back in 2003.

The venue………

TYNO is the name and the awesome 200 acre site is right off the A525 Wrexham to Ruthin Road near the village of Llandegla . The venue is literally like being in lush parkland with a brilliant parking and camping area coupled with one of the best XC circuits in the country.

Over 10k of rolling grassland and technical rocky outcrops and woodlands offer the rider 100% satisfaction as the course sweeps it's way through old shrubbery's and plantations and even some ancient stone ruins. With a lap time of around 12-15 minutes and the scope for yet another grass type special test area (WOR are adding these in more and more lately!!) The track will certainly be fun and flowing for all abilities NO matter what the weather does.

Hills are a minimum on this track although there are some cool little drop offs and cambered banks in the woods section.

The action on the weekend 26/27 th July ……..

Saturday 26th July at TYNO has one of the ever popular RED days,

A race Experience day.This practice day is open to all riders and offers quality time on a bike with a 3 hour practice and advice session followed by a 1 hour mini race after lunch. Nearly 5 hours of dirt bike fun aimed at all abilities is the reason these RED's are so popular.

Sunday 27th July at TYNO is the ACERBIS XC series round 3.

Basically a hare and hound style event lasting for 2 hours for the intermediate classes and 3 hours for the open classes. This one race format starts at 10.30am running through till 1.30pm. This really will be a true Cross Country event not miss as the circuit is truly amazing.  

Then on the Wednesday the 30th July, TYNO will host two events, The first being on the Wednesday day a Cross Country Fun Day with tuition and advice aimed at Kids and Adults alike wanting midweek dirt bike fun in the school hol's. This midweek red will be limited numbers and will run from 10am till 4pm. If interested please book in and once minimum numbers are met we will confirm details .

Then On the Wednesday evening, starting at 6.30pm the final round of the CF RACING Wednesday night XC series will take place, rounding off this cool championship at a really nice venue and giving the riders another chance to ride at TYNO until summer 2009.
